Let’s celebrate African-American History Month through fitness on Tone Up Tuesday by belly dancing. While belly dancing is performed mostly by Middle Eastern dancers, the dance is of African origin. Belly dancing is a form of dance that can help strengthen and tone the muscles in the core, hips, and pelvis. Qamar, our instructor for the event, is the founder of Nouri Belly Dance and a Belly Fusion Instructor at Kazaxe. Belly Dancing Hip Scarves will be available for purchase ($10-$17) or bring your own.
